I recently Acquired a set of 1996 Altec Lansing ACS90 computer speakers with sub woofer, brand new in box, for about $10 on eBay, I was surprised to see that they were so cheap, and close to were I lived so I bought them immediately.
I was really happy when I got them, and the first thing I did was to play Daryll-Ann - Surely Justice at a moderate volume, with the Bass and treble set in the middle, I can say that the quality for these 23 year old speakers are quite amazing, which was what I was hoping for, it was actually during a call with Ultrax that I decided that I would go about purchasing them, which I did end up doing, and I can say that they are amazing!
I also use an old Dell Quietkey (RT7D5JTW) with my PC, as thankfully the Motherboard supports a PS/2 connection, which I actually really appreciate having, as most of the keyboards I like and use are PS/2.

Can confirm, I even encouraged the purchase 😜

We actually found a set of Roland MA-12Cs on eBay with a $10 starting bid. Seems innocent enough, right? ...
Shot up to $130 within a few days. Shame, I would've bought them if they had stayed below $100.

Surprisingly, I don't use any vintage peripherals with any of my modern PCs. I briefly used my Compaq Presario 425's keyboard with my FX8350 rig, but that was a temporary thing.

Nice. I do something similar. My modern system (HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR) has a beige KeyTronic Lifetime Series keyboard attached and uses a pair of Gateway 2000 ACS41 bookshelf speakers. The speakers are shared with my Pentium DOS PC right next to it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

I still use a Apple M2452 keyboard... If that is old enough 🤣 and in doubt, I also use 2000's (they're from roughly the beginning of the 2000's) Sony SRS-A202 speakers, these have quite a bit of a punch of speakers for their size.
