Totally not related to computers, but just curious if anyone remembers the old RCA selectavision CED disks.
Every once in a while find myself reading up on them.
Interesting idea, but It was a terrible format that really killed RCA.
There are still people collecting them to this day (three decades later).
It arrived in the early 80s and so had to compete with video tapes, laserdiscs and CDs. If it had come out a decade earlier it would probably have succeeded.

I was toying with the idea of an analogy between collecting old computers versus old CED disks (when so many better alternatives are available to the latter
The difference is - the people collecting CED disks are basically nuts at this point, whereas people collecting computers are not (LOL)
