Erm, 称 means 1) to weigh with a scale 2) to address (someone). I suppose you want to say 你好 (hello).

maximum - write original symbols and translation to English.
if it can't be recognized - than just write "guess" or skip if not possible to read.

the translation example in attachment its done for earlier game mars3d.

Not sure why you picked those two games to work on; they were rather mediocre and neither famous nor popular. I've heard talks about Taiwanese game developers back than had difficulties with VESA, 3D engines, and DirectX. Therefore, many Taiwanese games of Win98 era were still stuck with Mode 13h 320x200 resolution under DOS.

I can't find any video of gameplay of the second game (蜀漢英雄傳) but a simple introductory page with two screencaps. Based on the Three Kingdoms period with countless games, it was an FPS similar to the first game, with almost identical controls and user interface. I included Wikipedia links of historic figures and real world locations.

It's just a very different writing system (logogram) from phonogram (alphabet, abjad, etc.) and it's not that hard if you grow up with them: I started learning Chinese characters when I was two.

You see, it would be easier for toddlers to learn "one logogram character = one meaning" than "combinations of 26 letters with little or no individual meanings of their own." Take the example above:

快 = fast, quick (adj.)
速 = speed, velocity (n.)
存 = to save, to reserve (v.)
檔 = file (n.)

Pictogram characters are even easier; most Chinese toddlers learn pictogram characters (all noun of natural objects) earlier than other characters with more abstract meanings or concepts.

Growing up with it is the key here I think, for myself I would and do have a hard time remembering that many pictograms due to how different they are to English. (Especially so when a few lines can change the entire meaning or change the sound as in the case with Kanji)

Hello a little bit offtopic, your help makes possible of translation to english.
The game 3D Hero now have English translation about 95% is translated. Can't do more =)

This is final translation, further can be only a reconstruction to make full cd-rom version. (will not do it my self)
