I have a very small collection of 8-bit computers, all variations of the Timex Sinclair ZX-81. I also have a few cassette recorders to match. I bought this Tandy CCR-82 some time ago, and just recently completed it's repair.

Although it worked fine for the most part upon receipt, these cassette players are over 30 years old, and the belts must be serviced at a minimum. It's also prudent to clean and apply fresh oil and grease, check for cracks in the solder, and replace any rubber components where possible, such as all belts, as well as the pinch rollers l if possible.
