So, I have a computer running Windows 7 and got another machine I wanted to move that installation to. I cloned the hard drive to an SSD and just put said SSD in the other machine without re-installing from scratch because I really didn't want to go through the effort of re-installing all the programs and such. Problem is, it sits on the initial "Starting Windows" screen for longer than it really should for it being an SSD. It's otherwise performing just fine, like after that screen finally goes away the desktop comes up near instantly for example. I also dual-booted Windows 10 on the drive later (installed that directly on the machine this time) and 10 boots so much faster than 7 does. Is there any solution to this without having to fully re-install 7? Thanks.
