I had a crazy idea brwosing the forums.
I just thought of a big document containing all the problems with games, and how to solve them.
Imagine this: someone has a problem with a game, after a while a solution is found, and the problem/solution is added to the document.
I know this could be an immense document/job, but imagine how incredibly useful it would be!
It would be like the bible for old games!

Like most things, it's easier said than done.
We are getting there though. I've been compiling the data that I have accumulated for years and it should be in a useful state.....soon.

We've all been trying something like this, in one way or another. It's just that there are so many thousands of DOS titles, and what may get one working properly maybe useless for everything else.
I started my own "Problem Children" thread in "Magrathea/Deep Thought" specifically for troublemakers that we receive a lot of questions about.
'Deep Thought' is (supposed to be) basically the compilation you refer to. Eventually I do hope to move it to a more complete format rather than just having it all be more forum threads.
