Hello everyone,

A few years ago I did the Dreamcast diode mod in order to be able to use normal CR2032 batteries instead of the ML2032 rechargeable ones. Of course took the chance to add a battery holder too.

The SEGA CD 2 uses the same ML2032 battery, so I assume that the same logic can be applied to this case, and that the mod is doable.

I have basic solder skills but no electronics knowledge, where in the SEGA CD 2 board would I be applying the same diode, and how? I don't see a similar resistor to the Dreamcast image in the battery area.
