DRAGNOTT (formerly known as PRCNM) is used to quick change String Name of the AMD Athlon XP processors and AMD Duron processors with CPUID 680h when Windows starts. Besides, it can enter the processor the low power state and initiate a FID transition for the mobile processor. Just create a shortcut to PRCNM and place it into the Startup folder.

Anyone with an AMD processor care to try it? Don't have an support AMD processor to try this on at the moment but I'd like to see what it does.

Probably most useful for those without BIOS support to modify their multiplier and Cool and Quiet settings....I think. Haven't tried it out yet tho.

How would you be running a CPU that supports those things without a mainboard that supported them, exactly? They are De Facto part of every Athlon64, and you can't fit an Athlon64 into a board that doesn't support Athlon64s. 😀

Yes, it’s my fault.
