Just wanted to offer my thanks to dege for the most recent inclusion of DX9 support in dgVoodoo - with it, Taito Legends 1 & 2, which were previously locked at a resolution of 640x480, can now have the obnoxiously smudgy full-screen bilinear filtering stripped out and the original framebuffers of the games displayed as they were intended, displayed at a resolution of 1920x1080 with closer pixel integrity. This is especially relevant for the games that relied on vertical 3:4 resolutions such as Gekirindan and tried rather unelegantly to stretch a 320-line vertical resolution over a 480-line resolution.

Yes, I know I could use MAME and redownloaded many of the ROMs that didn't work in modern versions of MAME, but honestly, I'd rather use the games I paid for than have to download them from legally-dubious ROM websites.

Here's the original in Taito Legends 2 running at 640x480:

And here's the original in Taito Legends 2 running through dgVoodoo2.6 at 1280x960 alongside the game running in MAME.
