The demo seems to be broken. I got a 'log' file containing the following:

It's a pity, I was curious of a game playing an Impulse Tracker module as music.
Could be an OS incompatibility issue (with how it tries to read files from its data file) too. Works fine in dgVoodoo at any rate (if you give it wrong version bass.dll, it will disable sound):
Yes, it seems to be a error with .IT music file / bass.dll. After I replaced the bass.dll it works fine but (as ZellSF said) no sound.

So I downloaded that demo you linked to. Must be a Windows 10 issue? Works in Windows 7 Pro 64 without issue and without dgVoodoo.
