I have a problem, when I use dgvoodoo, the ground disappears at the sides of the screen.
I have a problem, when I use dgvoodoo, the ground disappears at the sides of the screen.
Having a quick glance into this, it turns out to be a visibility-checking problem (D3D7 has built-in method to support that).
I don't yet know to fix it, as I don't really understand the root of the problem (but the fact that MS D3D does its calcs with single-precision floats unlike dgVoodoo is suspicious).
