I recently discovered that I can't play Ultra Street Fighter IV anymore thanks to driver updates from AMD. A fatal error appears saying "failed creating 3d device". I can make it work with dgVoodoo, but I have to check "Disable and passthru to real DirectX" or it crashes at start up, with the exception of using "GeForce FX 5700 Ultra" as the GPU, which let's the game run up to the capcom screen, then a new windows titled "ActiveMovie Window" pops up and both windows just stay black forever. Major issue I have with having to passthru to real DirectX is that I can't use Reshade with the game.

I'll check it out, but what I don't understand is if you enable "disable and passthru..." then dgVoodoo will not be used at all and all calls are just forwarded to the native AMD driver...

Btw, the game in question is this one?

Yes, that is the game.

I've removed dgVoodoo and seems to be working again. I guess it got fixed by getting in contact with it. But it would be good if I could use dgVoodoo to make it work with DirectX 12, because I'm having trouble with games that use DirectX 9 since I bought a 4K HDR monitor. These games lack contrast and brightness now, but I can make up for it with shaders, so don't worry too much about getting it to work.

Thanks.
