This is the original game from 2002, not the Steam release. It seems to be using DirectDraw 7, but there are a few Direct3D traces too.

This is a bit tricky, this way of accessing surface data isn't compatible with dgVoodoo, but I made a workaround fix for that. Now it works.
The original issue is fixed with WIP93.1, but now the UI text doesn't show up.
I don't understand it. I have the text and everything:
D3D11 is needed though, for some reason the image is not presented with D3D12 (which is fake fullscreen physically).
Then maybe it's the patch that broke something?
I reinstalled the game without updating it, so it's version 1.0.1. I tested with both 2.82.4 and WIP95.1. The text is still missing. I'm using the default dgvoodoo and game settings.
