Hi! I have a DOS laptop at my mother's house. Now it's missing, but, before it was missing, it had several issues. Its main issue was no hard drive, so I had to do a whole run-around and simulate hard drives using two Zip disks, two large RAM drives and a network with a Win98 minitower. It also had only standard VGA graphics and no sound card. And, its monitor was split but still works. I looked on eBay for a replacement and found one for a decent price, but it expired, and I was unable to find another one. Should I just get a new hard drive for my current laptop or buy a new laptop? I am familiar with FDISK and FORMAT and may be able to handle CMOS settings but am not savvy with the hardware of a computer.
