I'm looking for a replacement editor for Dos Navigator (text mode, standard cut, copy paste key comminations). I checked few websites, and there are plenty of them. I don't know which one is good, freeware and not to complicated 😒

Also, are there any good word processors in graphics mode? Some book writing software, for multiple chapters?
I appreciate any suggestions.

In DOS I use for basic text editing QEdit (TSE Jr) or programming I use TSE Pro (Qedit big brother).

for graphic word processing in dos.. you can use Word Perfect 6.2 in graphic mode.

obviously if you go windows you have a plethora of word processing stuff.

For basic text editing I fall back to my UNIX roots and use a DOS version of vi/vim.

For word processing, I would go for WordPerfect.

wow, thanx for all those suggestions. I discovered PEDIT as a small and pretty powerfull dos text mode editor. Works great.
I wish there would be some book writing program, with Chapters sidebar, to work on multiple parts of the book. I will keep looking!
