Hello, quick question. What kind of drivers does 6.22 need, I am thinking just some sound blaster drivers and cute mouse and I think that is it. Also if I am using multi-boot such as having 98 installed too, will this driver conflict with 7.1 on 98 as I won't really be using that? Also is there a way to use a 32 GB CF when installing these 2 OSs. I don't care if DOS 6.22 uses 2 GBs. I just want to know if the rest of the space will be available for 98. Also when installing both, should I install 98 first and then 6.22? Thanks.

EDIT: Do I need VESA if I have a GeForce 2MX 400. And if so, which one would be the best? Thanks.

If he uses XP, he needs no Win98. 😉

Edit: Win98 detects an previously installed MS-DOS and adds it to a list, which can be seen if you press F8 during boot.
If you select it, DOS 7 will load the old MS-DOS system files, including the old Autoxec.bat and Config.sys.
It's been a while, though, since I used this method.

Ah, but then he would need DOS 6.22 again to run DOS games. XP has no pure DOS mode, 98 does. 😀
