Hi everyone I registered here because I think its a neat board with old stuff

A long time ago I got an Idea to play with a BIOS on my 486, but didn't know where I could find a comunity where I could get old BIOSes, and where people would play with old stuff, and VOGONS structs to mind

although MDL has a BIOS modding section that not realy what I want because they just talk on how to bypass OEM activation and generely specilize on new stuff

SO I WANDER: can this forum get BIOS modding section with sticky threads like this one: How about a MR-BIOS ROM file repository?

and in that section people would post tutorials/questions on (OLD)BIOS moddifications (support for larger HDD, more Floppy drives, etc), BIOS upgrades, talks on modern BIOSes like XTIDE Universal BIOS, booting BIOSes from Network Cards EEPROM sockets and so on

So what do you think on my proposal (not the mariage one 😀), I think people would find BIOS related things easier that way
