Hello there.

I am looking for suggestions on a temperature monitoring software. I recently put together a PII 450mhz based system, it is a passively cooled CPU on a small, thick, micro-atx chassis. So I want to control mainly the CPU temperatures (having an eye on chipset wouldn´t harm either).

I´ve added a couple 120mm fans, but the chassis is not designed with airflow in mind, the warm air in the inside seems to not being getting out properly and I´ve noticed the chassis itself gets warm at touch, not to mention the CPU heatsink which gets hot.

Do you happen to use or know about a piece of software suitable and compatible with Windows 98se, for this purpose?

Think in advance!

What temperature readings are available in the BIOS?

I can't find any old software to monitor CPU & GPU temperature on Windows 9x

"What temperature readings are available in the BIOS?" --> Just CPU temperature

"I can't find any old software to monitor CPU & GPU temperature on Windows 9x" --> I downloaded Mprobe1.31 and SpeedFan 1.50, as suggested in that thread.

Thanks a lot!

I could search for an old version of Everest which works on Windows98, yes.
I believe I´ve tried HWinfo before but didn´t pay attention on its temperature monitoring capabilities

Thanks!
