I believe this game came out 1999. It was an online WW2 fighter simulator played through MSN Gaming Zone. Servers are long gone, but it contains an offline component for training, free flight and few other scenarios I like to fire up occasionally.

Unfortunately, it's the most frustrating game I have to get working on both new and old hardware. When the game is launched it attempts to detect what 3D accelerators are on the system, after which it on most systems it usually crashes. After testing it on combinations with eight systems (some of which I no longer own), I only got it working with three:

Systems it works on:
1. (98FE): P2 333 MHZ, 64MB RAM, Intel i740 (AGP)
2. (XP): Celeron 1.3 GHZ, 384MB RAM, Radeon 7500 (PCI)
3. (XP): Athlon 64 3400+, 2GB RAM, AMD 3850 or ATI X600 (AGP)

Systems it fails on:
1. (98SE): P3 600 MHz, 128MB RAM, Geforce 2 MX / ATI Rage 128 / Matrox Millennium (AGP)
2. (98 SE / XP): Pentium M 1.5 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, Radeon 7500 Mobility
3. (XP 64-bit): Core 2 Quad, 8GB RAM, Geforce 750 Ti (PCIE)
4. (98 SE / XP): Athlon 64 3200+, 1.5GB RAM, Geforce 6200 (AGP)
5. (XP): Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ, 2GB RAM, Radeon X600 Mobility

Any attempts to run on Windows Vista or higher always fails as well, even on system #3 that worked with XP.

Maybe someone else knows this game, or could give some recommendations?
