In my previous thread: Cannot get new P3 CPU working in my Dell Dimension 4100 I have successfully upgraded my Windows 98SE machine but now face some instability, mostly bluescreens in Windows. After doing a Scandisk surface scan and a memorytest using Memtest86+ i quickly ran out of options.

Regarding modern systems I have some standard places to go such as the eventlogs and using Debugging Tools for Windows to analyze dumpfiles. I did notice that these tricks don't work on my 98SE machine and I quickly ran out of options.

Can anyone point me towards some helpful articles or tools to work with? I have done some searching but there wasn't much helpfull I could find.
