Looking for some new games to play on my old 286
looking for stuff like racing or platformers or arcade type games thanks.
ps i have all the common stuff like secret agent , crystal caves , cosmo
word rescue , math rescue , duke nukem ect.

Test Drive II the Duel, is a racing game that "runs" on 286, but it's a bit like a fast slide show... doesn't really get much better on faster systems, still a bit short of frames. After that, not before, you might be trained enough to guess where the car will be in 3 frames time by the time it responds, to play Lombard RAC rally.
Titus the Fox, I get a bit frustrated with, but overall feel is like a Genesis platformer.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
prehistorik is a pretty fun, it should run ok on a 286
There are several Simpsons and TMNT games that run fine
Shareware Wolfenstein / Sphere of Destiny (some think you need a Core I9 to run it but I always did fine on my 10mhz 286, slight choppiness was normal)

Old MS Flight Simulators
Cannon Fodder
Jill Of The Jungle
Keen
TD 3 seemed to work for me
Monkey Island (and many other adventure games)
Several Pinball games.
Arkanoid
Really a very large library
