I'm getting an error that says, "Kernel32 caused a general protection fault in krnl386.exe". My system then freezes and stops responding to mouse clicks, so I then have to press manually restart the PC.

I have an IDE DVD/CD-ROM drive, but I've been transferring ISO rips of my games via USB 2.0 and installing them with DAEMON Tools.
