I have a copy of The Dig on CD-ROM (original copy).

This game has no installer. Instead you just run the game directly from the CD-ROM and it copies a config file to the C: drive.

I tried copying the entire contents of the CD-ROM onto a hard drive, but trying to run it from the drive it then asks to put the CD-ROM in the CD drive. Yet even with the CD in the drive, it still won't launch from the hard drive.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get it to run from the hard drive?
