Does anyone remember a name of a tool used back in the day to set various configuration options on Windows XP (such as hide certain annoying balloon messages etc).
This tool would contain lots of useful registry settings. I used it a lot back in the day, but I can't remember it's name.
It was something that was run just once on a newly installed system.

Perhaps.. It didn't change the look and feel. It just disabled some baloons, and did other under the hood stuff like enable disk DMA etc(if I remember correctly).
I need to run it and see. Looking at the screenshot at the link it seems the tool I'm thinking of had a much smaller window.
