I have been playing through Wolf3d v1.4 on a 486. This is my first time playing the game. Everything works. Sound is great. Game play is smooth. I have noticed on the High Scores screen a CODE column on the far right. For me the code is AHFL. I can't find any reference to this code in the manual or through Google. Might someone know what it is all about?

At some point in time there was going to be a competition for highest score, the code (shown only for the top score) is a verification value like a checksum.
Guessing the cheat codes probably don't work on that version?

Well thank you for that answer.

My version is from Apogee. I tried some cheat codes. The LIM cheat worked. Full keys, weapons, health and ammo . (I couldn't grab a screen shot of it because the screen thief hotkeys clears the message before the image is captured) The other debugging cheats did NOT work, as you guessed.
