Hi all,

I have a PC (P-M 2Ghz\855GM), which can output 1600x1200 via it's BIOS setting (Dual output LVDS+VGA).
Most games run perfectly fine, but I'm having some performance issues with some Sierra games based on SCI engine (still perfectly playable, just cosmetic issue).
Most noticeable being Space Quest V. Intro animations and room transitions are somewhat sluggish, as if the game struggles to render (see example below).
KQVI has similar issues. QFG1 runs fine, only Sierra logo intro is sluggish.
Larry1 and QFG4 have no issues whatsoever.

I'm no expert in this game engine, but my wild guess that it may have to render much more pixel space now, causing this, opposed to simple monitor scaling.
Or something in LVDS itself.
If revert back to VGA only mode 740x400 everything is normal. Lowering LVDS to 640x480 improves performance a bit.

Any ideas where should I dig further?
