O&O Defrag supports TRIM on Windows XP and could run as Service.

Which version works on WinXP ? The main page only mentions 64bit Win10/11.

I'm an O&O Defrag user, too.
I'm using O&O Defrag 2000 (Freeware) here on XP SP3.
Another version is installed, too.

Edit: I'm not sure about TRIM, though.

So, it seems version 17 may work for WinXp, and perhaps trim as well, even if they do not mention how to switch to AHCI for XP, only the newer systems gets a how-to:
https://docs.oo-software.com/en/oodefrag17/tr … incompatibility
(I do know how to set AHCI on XP, just thinking the lack of info on the page points to TRIM not possible or something?)

And, I have no idea if the download will work or not, or if it only acts as a time limited freeware if you don't have any code/licence for it (?)

Edit: and to answer myself:

Note: If do not enter a valid license key, you will be able to use O&O Defrag as a test version for a limited time only.

..unless they have 'freewared' this ancient (2013) version by now, that is.
