When trying to load the 'BassMidi' VST that is the soundfont playback component, this message appears:

There is no sound when play anything with Bass Midi VSTi, but the soundcard's internal synth (Ensoniq AudioPCI) does work with it.
This is bugging me out as well because it's the only soundfont synthesizer that has MIDI input configuration and the choice for multiple soundfonts per GM bank. Theoretically I could pair it with a DAW.
Is there any way I can get this fixed and working, unless if I could be better off upgrading to 98? Does this even support Windows 9x?
