I have both an Audigy 2 ZS card (primary card) and an AWE32 (secondary) installed and configured with zero conflicts in Windows 98SE. The Audigy 2 ZS is used most of the time, using VXD drivers. However, there are some older games (such as Privateer 2 Deluxe) which cannot work properly with VXD drivers and require WDM drivers, which I think is weird because aren't WDM drivers newer, and Privateer 2 is from 1997.

Anyhow, I was wondering if it was possible to create a batch file or script or if there is an app out there which can make a game use a particular sound card over the other, without having to change the playback device manually each and every time that particular game is loaded? I know it is simple enough to right click on the volume control and do it manually, but I sometimes forget to change it back.
