Hi,
I got a problem with my CT-3910. Till it works as AWE32, Sb16 or OPL everything is fine.
But when I turn on AWEUTIL /EM (no matter GM or MT32) when it will try to play a midi it crashes a system. I tired both 330h and 300h -same effect.

Does anyone has similar problem?

Hello.

Are you running protected mode games?

If so, AWEUTIL's MPU-401 emulation won't work with these out of the box. At least there is DOS32AWE which can be used as a workaround for games using the DOS/4GW extender.

Another workaround is to run them within Windows 95/98 if you have it installed on the computer. The emulation is much better there, and with the AWE Control Panel, SF2 SoundFonts can be used.

So more details. I'm using Dos 6.22. It is not only about Dos 4/GW games. In general even in the old games when I start AWEUTIL when game try to start it crashes. Both General Midi and MT-32

Seems that the motherboard where the AWE32 is installed couldn't handle NMIs as AWEUTIL relies on it for the emulation to work.

Edit: Which version of AWEUTIL do you have?
