Looking at one of my YMF724 cards, it looks like they should be number 103 which is 10k ohms for R49 and R50 on your card.

Hopefully it's just those three parts

You'll notice that the traces between the header and the YMF744 are intact, so those components are for pull up, pull down, or noise suppression.

Well they arrive today and I should be able to get better pics by tomorrow.

I am assuming this is a reference card design. If anyone has a YMF744 card that looks similar with the SB-Link and / or SPDIF installed please post some high-res pics. My searches have not yielded much.

I've picked up a 754 from Labway recently with a very similar PCB. I'll get photos.

Above is the SPDIF header.

Above is the PC/PCI header. The two components labeled R44 and R47 have "103" printed on them. Pins 92-94 on the 754 appear to have discrete connections to the header, but I can't tell which is which because they go underneath.

The bottom side doesn't appear to have traces for this connector on this PCB.

Well at least it confirms that the two resistors are 103 (10k-Ohm) from more than one source.

I think those are the only two missing componets other than the header. I will trace C16 on my board when it arrives to double check.

I'm still waiting on a replacement PlatiniX 7LI-A motherboard, which should contain a PC/PCI connector. They sent me the C variant, which lacks the PC/PCI connector. Ideally, I would test this card for my Pentium 4 DOS gaming article.

Currently, the card isn't being used for much of anything 😀

I will try and test soon. resistors check good though.

I got a chance today to test it. Took a little bit to figure it out but working fine under pure DOS with S-IRQ and PC-PCI (SB-Link)

I just got one of these, and am super interested in soldering on the header and resistors like you did.

I was wondering if you recall the power rating and tolerance of the 103s you used? I don't know much about that sort of stuff and don't want to use ones that'll break the card.

I'll try to measure them and see what size they are, I have forgotten honestly.

I'd like to thank you guys for this mod info. Now I have fully functional SB Pro in native DOS mode. I like this card very much in both win98 and DOS op.systems.
