Gold chip is this Analog Devices AD585 and year is 1988? https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-doc … heets/AD585.pdf
Timer + S&H amp + analog section, doesn't seem to be able to use DMA or generate IRQs. It might be a crude successive approximation based ADC card but the layout suggests it outputs stuff instead, might be a signal generator ?

Is it right website? Many EDU product but no info about hardware: https://web.archive.org/web/19980211000920/ht … www.ydp.com.pl/
Yes, Young Digital Poland was a maker of educational software, including some multimedia stuff for learning foreign languages.
In the early 90s, when sound cards were still rare and expensive, they came out with their own sound card - safe bet it was only compatible with YDP software, and maybe even bundled with that software.

Dzięki Grzyb.
That means must be extreme rare outside Poland. And small chance to get software for testing.
After long searching i found nothing more about card or software. Only one pictue from old polish auction:

I did some search, and now I'm somewhat confused...
For learning foreign languages you need a DAC card, capable of sample playback.
And the name of this card suggests it's such a DAC: "CA" probably stands for "cyfrowo-analogowy" ie. digital-to-analog.
But...
http://poradnik-logopedyczny.pl/wykorzystanie … -firmy-ydp.html
mentions some "Logopedia" (speech therapy) software, running on a 386, with a special sound card, bundled with that software, and designed to co-exist with other sound card.
Now...
"During the child's work at the computer, voice is being fed to the computer through the microphone and a special expansion card. The software automatically determines selected voice parameters (level, pitch, manner of articulation), and then uses the parameter to control the game..."
So it must be an ADC card.
Perhaps they made different cards for different software products?

Why should a ADC Card contain a TDA2030 Amplifier ?
This one is typical found in Car Stereos or Compact Sound Systems.

It is part of the input conditioning I, to create high voltage with significant current capability for the S&H circuit to work on (normal opamp will just oscillate if it has to drive a significantly capacitive load).

here i found some info about YDP measuring card.
It use TESLA MDAC565C chip from Czech Republic:
https://oldcomputer.info/pc/board_other/index.htm
Tesla datasheet:
http://www.teslakatalog.cz/MDAC565C.html
And some auction with CONTROL AMPLIFIER PE-07: https://allegro.pl/oferta/young-digital-polan … e-07-7543246662
OK, now it all makes sense...
ACCA = ADC+DAC
Together with that amplifier, it connects to both the microphone and the speaker, for that speech therapy stuff.
CA = DAC
Provides output only, which is enough for sample playback in language learning software.

And name CA12 means 12bit output when ACCA 12/8 means 12bit output and 8bit imput...
Both input and output capability changes things, everything makes sense now. Now if software can be located this could be useful again to some extent.

Question.
Can be Control Amplifier PE-07 device for connecting into YDP ACCA 12/8 card?
Both use DA-15 connector:

I think so.
That article on speech therapy I linked earlier mentions two things bundled with the software:
"konsoleta YDP" - it's probably that amplifier
"special sound card, which can co-exist with other sound card" - must be ACCA 12/8
