The bad :

- Drivers are here (Clicking link will not work in most modern browsers Chrome if viewing vogons through https as link is http rather than https. In order to access, one must copy link address and paste into new browser tab/window) http://terratec.ultron.info/Audio/DMX_6fire_USB/Updates/ and in sub-folders .
- most drivers will not install under Windows 10 (neither through installer nor by unpacking and updating through device manager)
- The beta Windows 10 driver does install ( win10_drv.zip ), but is unusable for me as audio endpoint enumeration is slow and subject to crashing the Windows audio service and endpoints are unlabeled . AFAICR, I had other issues too, so I gave up on those .

The good :

- This driver (Clicking link will not work in most modern browsers Chrome if viewing vogons through https as link is http rather than https. In order to access, one must copy link address and paste into new browser tab/window) http://terratec.ultron.info/Audio/DMX_6fire_U … a_7_8_64Bit.exe installs and works normally in Windows 10 x64 20H2/19042.985 for the most part (see below).

The ugly :

- For some reason, this driver set does not install and register ttdmx6fireasio.dll on my first few attempts . This file is is required for 32-bit ASIO support, AFAICT . I was able to extract it from another driver set (DMX_6fire_USB_Setup_1.23.00.20_XP_Vista_7_8_64Bit.exe), copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Terratec Electronic GmbH\DMX 6Fire USB and then register it manually with regsvr32 from an elevated privilege command prompt (Administrator) . Ironically, after unregistering the file, uninstalling the driver set, and deleting the file, I no longer hit that strange bug . So DMX_6fire_USB_Drv_Setup_Vista_7_8_64Bit.exe does seem to contain the proper, just does not always install it, for some reason . EDIT I have confirmed that this driver set does not include ttdmx6fireasio.dll (file must have been left over from one of my other driver install attempts).

EDIT :
In case someone needs the details, after installing DMX_6fire_USB_Drv_Setup_Vista_7_8_64Bit.exe, to get access to a copy of ttdmx6fireasio.dll, I ran DMX_6fire_USB_Setup_1.23.00.20_XP_Vista_7_8_64Bit.exe and clicked next until it was ready to install the driver (after it installed a Visual C runtime), I then accessed C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\temp , searched for "DMX 6Fire USB 64bit.msi" and extracted it using Universal Extractor . In the extracted subfolder, I found ttdmx6fireasio.dll , which I copied to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Terratec Electronic GmbH\DMX 6Fire USB" (I also made abackup copy). Finally I opened a cmd.exe command prompt with Administrator rights, and ran cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Terratec Electronic GmbH\DMX 6Fire USB" followed by regsvr32 ttdmx6fireasio.dll .

EDIT2 : To hopefully help people avoid the "pleasure" of the extraction process when hitting this issue in the future, here is the ttdmx6fireasio.dll file .

ttdmx6fireasio.zip
