Hi i bought a hp pavillion 8803 which plays dos games pretty well the only problem is that it doesn't have any isa slots so i was wondering if there were any pci sound cards with opl 3 suppory
there are Ymf7xx cards(Yamaha XG) are PCI and have Opl-sa or OPL3/4 chip

The ESS Solo-1 supports OPL too, but I think it is ESFM, not "pure" OPL.
CMI8338 and CMI8738 have a nice FM sound, close to a 1:1 clone of OPL3. ALS4000 also have a nice sounding clone.
Forté Media based PCI Soundcard will also be a nice option. You can find it for small money as it is underrated.
