Oh gosh! I really want one! Another dream comes true.

Well it is easy, to get your own, I just upload the files to 3d hubs
searched a 3d printer near my home town, and had it printed and shipped.
(there was also the option to pick it up)
After this print, I received a 10$ voucher to share with friends : http://3dhubs.refr.cc/MBVWXSH
So I guess that makes it very low cost, if you find a printer in your home town.

Yesterday done soldering one of my OPL2LPT. Distance between miniUSB solder points was insane, probably < 0.2 mm, spent quite a long time trying to separate them until suceeded. The rest went like a breeze.
I am so excited, I found a 3D printing hobby group in my city that told me to come along and bring the blueprints with me. I will go there this afternoon and hopefully return with printed cases for the CVX4 and OPL2LPT.
Ordered a transparent case yesterday for 12 bucks, shipping included. 😁
Just finished building mine tonight but dont have time to test it - oh well I'll try it tomorrow.

Does adlipt work with freedos emm386 ?

Yes. There's a version that works with JEMM, which is the default emm386 of FreeDOS 1.2. (Though I think older versions of FreeDOS might have used a different implementation. Adlipt won't work there.)
JEMM is more compatible and reliable anyway. If you want EMM386, it can be downloaded from Microsoft's FTP site.

Yesterday I built an OPL2LPT and today I tested it on my Tandy 1000 EX with my Parallel port adapter .... and it works great! really great! I even patched Space Quest ]I[ and got full Adlib sound instead of the Tandy Ti chip music! Im pretty darn happy with that! 😁
Btw, There was some discussion a few pages back about chip-pulls and re-marking etc, well my OPL2 Chip has the glossy mould ejection marks so Im confident it's the real deal.
Oh and one other thing, is there a patched version of the Adlib JukeBox etc floating around? My Tandy is only a 7Mhz V20 so the TSR is not an option for me.

EMM386 from MS does not work on Intel Atom D2700 on FreeDOS 1.2.
Also some things not working.. getting invalid opcodes from various software.
loaded adlipt, choose adlib in civilisation -> invalid opcode
-> retry without adlib -> works
-> retry with adlib -> works.. or invalid opcode 😳
Also some fun with fdisk crash 😁
damn it, atom is rather incompatible and seems to lack a lot of routines inside its efi bios emulation...
Everything is fine on my A10-5800K Quad..

The Atom was never meant to run DOS, so that's probably why.
I've made video showing my OPL2LPT (and a Covox Speech thing clone) working on my 1000 EX, I hope you enjoy it.

Nice video, dJOS !
I just got through a photo of the next OPL2LPT cases someone's printing for me.
Going a bit further and using 2 colors 😀

Cheers.
Nice case design, very very cool!

Some newer versions of the Atom apparently excised hardware blocks that were important for legacy compatibility, but I didn't pay much attention to it.

its simply firmware issue, cpu fully works with freedos.
video hw is not 100% combatible (gma500)
and bios lacks few routines, so things who call bios routines may not work..
freedos seems to make less use of these.
Thanks adlipt works fine with jemm.

Yup, I think it was Atom x5 or x7 chips, essentially the latest generation, which might have issues.

One of the two chips that arrived with my 2 kits was broken. Either didn't sound, or sounded very weird and muffled. 2nd one seem to work.
Even the text color is different between these two. The one that doesn't work properly is white, while the working one is yellowish.
Also, the output seems to be quite noisy if powered via USB. Is that normal?

Most likely due to ripple pickup. Had that too. Better connect a power bank or a separate USB power supply.
