I know there is a WaveBlaster MIDI board being sold online, but not locally. Is there a way that I can make a WaveTable to MIDI (5-pin DIN) so that way I can hook up my Yamaha DB50XG externally to my Music Quest clone card, with audio out as well, or is that impossible?

Using a Raspberry Pi isn't an option as the daughterboard I have requires +/- 5V and +/- 12V accordingly.

The only one I know that is reasonable priced and available now is dreamblaster's CHILL board: http://www.serdashop.com/CHiLL , the instructions pdf actually has the schematic inside if you are feeling brave to make your own.

Yes, but it requires some work.
