I've been enjoying the music made by this fellow who calls himself MBR. Must be a vogons dweller considering he's a 486. Just curious as I haven't dabbled with digital sound in any form since the adtracker days if anybody knows what software he might be using to make music like this? I find that the kick drums and stuff sound incredibly lifelike while he's still able to make "gamey" synth guitar sounds. Really cool mesh IMO.

Whatever software it is I'd have to pick it up and start learning, but it would be a neat project for me. I do have a Roland keyboard that I could interface over usb.

He's using native instruments massive software synth with effects and NI software stack in general. Sometime ago suggested him to use real 486 as sequencer in live performance, he seem wants too but not sure what came out of that.
