Today I am planning to add WavePi support to my Mobio NX MB12C/UV. We'll see how it goes. Pi Zero W will sit in excess hard drive space left by CF card. WavePi is a group of scripts for using apps which support midi playback through ttymidi (emulates a midi uart through a uart). Supports sf2 soundfonts, etc. Controllable by SYSEX messages. Basically it will give DOOM and other games orchestral music through a raspberry pi. https://github.com/t9999clint/WavePi. Nobody has done this with WavePi - it's planned as a SoundBlaster (old sound card) WaveBlaster (old wavetable card) addon.

Nice idea 😀
I was going to mention that someone else on the forum was doing something similar with a Libretto, but that was also you 😀 How did you get on with the Libretto upgrade?

I'm really keen to see how you get on with this - I like the idea of using a Pi zero in this way and it looks quite achievable.
