I have a USB MIDI adapter that only has MALE DIN-5 MIDI connectors.

I want to connect it to the Gameport on a soundcard.

Basically, I need a DB15M to DIN5F cable that connects to all necessary MIDI OUT signals on the sound card.

Is there a readily available schematic for this?

Note: I DO NOT NEED MIDI IN on the computer, I just want to be able to send MIDI to the USB Interface's MIDI cable.

Alternatively, can I use a DIN5 gender changer (DIN5F on either end) to link the USB MIDI Interface to a regular Gameport-MIDI cable?

Do a search on Google: "DB15 MIDI"

The simplest schematics I've seen are only using two 220Ω resistors, but soundcards may have internal resistors before the MIDI out pin in the DB15 connector that may limit the current to the optocoupler in the receiving end too much. Also the chip on the sound card may not be able to supply enough current by itself(?), many schematics uses inverters or transistors to overcome this obstable.
