Hi all, feeling a bit silly as I cannot for the life of me find a driver for this integrated sound chip that 98SE wants to play ball with. Being an intel 845 based chipset you'd think it would be easy to find, but i've tried quite a few different versions now and none of them have wanted to work.

The computer in question is an Acer Veriton 7200D (not particularly retro I know) which helpfully isn't listed on Acer's support website. I can get drivers for a 7100 but they don't work. I've tried generic soundMAX drivers along with realtek AC97 ones to no avail. I can find reference to a 72d_aud.exe online which should suit this computer but none of the download links work. And all my spare dedicated sound cards are ISA, so I don't have anything I can just drop in to the machine.

Anyone have or know where to find a sound driver for this Acer that apparently doesn't exist? Getting a bit desperate at this point...
