I'm owning a great HP Vectra vei 8. I've installed an teratec ess 1938s solo-1 pci card. In post bios it got IRQ 5. But even loading ess.sys in config.sys and essolo.com file in autoexec.bat nothing worked.
Even the SET BLASTER=A220 D1 I5 T4 command didn't work neither. A game like Rise Of The Triad didn't found a card.

Eventually i'm putting win98 on it. It's just that i can't get my head around why the terratec card isnt working.

( It has an intergrated Crystal sound chip 4280 onboard. Is there a way using this in real ms-dos 6.22? )
