Good evening...

So I got this card in (PCI) and trying to get it going in an older IBM Aptiva I'm setting up for some retro gaming... I cannot for the life of me find a driver for this thing for Windows 98 SE... I've tried a driver from creative, I tried a couple from here, I've dug around the web...

I hate to bother you guys, but if anyone has one or knows of one out there in the wild that works I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks,

-Corey

As far as I know there are no drivers for this card for Windows 9x . Creative still have drivers available online for Windows 9x for cards that supported those operating systems .

Creative have no Windows 9x drivers for the Sound Blaster Audigy SE (SB0570) and never did . https://support.creative.com/downloads/welcom … erType=0#type_0

Audigy variants that are based on the EMU 10K2 chip have Windows 9x drivers (either from Creative, the KX Project or both). The Audigy SE is an Audigy in name only as it is based on the CA0106 chip .

All cards based on the CA0106, whether named Audigy SE, Audigy LS or Live! 24-bit have no Windows 9x support .
