For MCA?
It isn't for MCA... but I'll ask him if there's any possible way to adapt it to an MCA bus.
You can always use a logic analyzer to capture the digital output directly from the OPL3 chip.

Why not just hook up a DAC to LPT, you can play Wave in Windows and use a couple of Mod Players, Trackers, even MP3 Player, Wav Players, and a Handful of Games.
With some variants even Stereo is possible.
But i would recommend a Active Device with own Bus Driver and own Power Source.
Otherwise you will always get bits of noise from the Computer.

I'm not sure what you mean by hooking up a Digital-to-analogue converter to the printer port. It there a specific one for the parallel port? I'm no expert to vintage computing so idk.

Yes a Covox clone, there's info enough on Vogons. There's also parallel port OPL boards, might be easier to get than a Resound MCA.
