but Kanpai from dosreloaded.de got the same idea almost same time and already ordered some PCBs.
So he send me one.
I added a DC-DC Booster for real SID IC.

Both are based on the Design from:

But it seems Vice has some Bugs in its LPT SID / PARSID Support.
If it gets correctly detected it will crash with Memory Corruption.

I will report back with more News when we get Vice running correctly!

Trying to get DOS Version running and Compilers for MS-DOS.

Stay tuned!

Thanks, that would be nice.

there will be still some changes, like allowing select different Frequencys to match ntsc/pal systems.
Had no time to continue yet.
i`m struggling to get older versions of vice to compile.

Still no success with Vice, it only access parallelport one time during detection, then nothing anymore.
Parsid is selected, and its not playing over Soundcard..

No Action for CE/Adress Latch at all haha

i hoped i could avoid making a testing program, but it seems i will not.

Trying to get Vice Build on djgpp, no success so far yet.
Its needed to modify the Auto Detection Routine.
There a lot of issues with DJGPP 😒, specially with building needed dependencies.

-> Detection Fine with ARMSID on LPTSID
-> Detection fails (often) with MOS6581
-> Plugging ArmSID first, then removing it and change it with MOS6581 Plug -> Vice plays just fine.
-> Adding Bus Driver -> also did not help with detection.
