I bought a fake YMF 724 the listing said is was a YMF-724-EV while the chip on the PCB said YMF724-GV. While i wait to get a refund from either the seller or ebay I was wondering what the actual card i received was because I can't find the drivers for it anywhere?

It's likely a fake card.

Possibly an FM-801 card which would be nice.

What is the PCI-ID that shows up in device manager or system info?

To get the PCI device ID for the card, you can also use pcilist.exe under Windows 9x : https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/pci_list.html ?
