Does this card exist?

Basically an Audigy or Live card (or anything else) that will work with windows 98 (EAX) and have DOS support, and uses a low profile bracket.

Yep there is, I've got an Audigy with a low profile bracket. Don't have any specs for compatibility but its a SB0570 if that helps.

Yeah I've just noticed that the 0570 is perhaps even more common than the full profile Audigy cards. However it has "software EAX support". Does anyone know if this sounds as good as hardware EAX? How much CPU performance does it eat up?

the SB0570 isn't based on the old EMU chips anymore and has no Win98 drivers unfortunately afaik
