Hi all

How do people connect their audio ports to two different soundcards? Is that even doable?

Would this cable work?

It could work for some setups. It is not designed as a splitter tho. It has 2 different ends for 2 different pinouts, and will only reach between two with headers near each other .

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I have something like this in my older K6-III setup that has two sound cards (Turtle Beach A3DXstream and ESS AudioDrive 1868). It works since the cards are in adjacent slots, but I make sure to have my mixer set so as to not have CD-audio turned on (unmuted) for both at the same time.

[Install Win95 like you were born in 1985!] on systems like this or this.
