I just got an Audigy 2 Platinum EX.
Model SB0280

I installed it on the pc, but it is not detected on the device manager (no entry appears).

Motherboard: Asus K8S-MX.
Operating system: Windows ME.

I tried moving the sound card to the first pci slot. I realized it requires floppy cable power so I powered it up. I tried to use linux (the latest version of Antix). I disabled as many peripherals as possible. But nothing I did worked. The sound blaster is still not seen. Do you have an idea why?
