Creating a new thread for the launch, any doubts about the project you can post here...

https://sites.google.com/site/tandycocoloco/m … -cga-ega-to-vga

Gerber files available and FGPA code released. Enjoy.

I am having trouble playing with different CGA boards, I should make the output as 720x400 and show all the borders as some people wanted...

Maybe EGA needs the same but I have just one board to test.

I'm usually very short on time these days, and would definitely consider ready-made offerings at a decent price. Keep us updated if you ever get them made to order.

Hey
it would be a nice project.
But I'm also short on time these days (due to soundcard related projects), maybe in november or december i'd delve into this.
if people are interested, and retrocanada76 gives his blessing, I could make a batch .

I have some unassembled kits for sale if anyone is interested. Main thread on VCF:

http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?607 … 9581#post489581

I am in the US and unfortunately international shipping is expensive. But I can combine shipping on up to 2 kits. You can PM me here or on VCF.

I can't wait until dreamblaster (serdashop) can supply these.

Now my CGA/Tandy can have great picture quality on a LCD, and my 286 can become a true EGA system.

a REALLY usefull thing for me would be an external Scandoubler for the ST.
I get a really nice and sharp image on my TFT with an A2320 (31.5khz 50hz),
but on my ST the picture is really bad on lowres and medium/high as well.
(with 15khz/50hz which the LCD supports)

I'm not very familiar with non-PC systems, but Luis has another project, RGB2VGA, that might be what you want.
