My one and only Commodore 9pin RGB monitor decided to call it a day a while back. All it does when it gets power now is make a "never ending humming sound" and no display at all.. is there any hope for the monitor or should I bin it? I heard that opening one of these can be dangerous because of electricity remaining even when shut off.. not sure if that is true. Also not sure if there really is a point to opening it up.. as in, could I even do anything to try and fix it...
